Kate Chiera

Kate began her career with DJB in 2015 as a co-op student. She received her CPA, CA designation in 2020 and was promoted to Assurance Manager in January 2022. She provides accounting, assurance, and tax services to various businesses in the Niagara Region and surrounding areas. Kate has a wide range of experience in a variety of industries, including non-profit organizations, agriculture, construction, and manufacturing.

Kate graduated from Brock University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree with First Class Standing. She also completed a semester-long international exchange at the University of Torino in Italy.

Kate is an active member of the community, participating in various charity events and initiatives. She currently serves as the Treasurer of YWCA Niagara, as well as serving on their capital infrastructure committee. During her spare time, Kate is an avid traveller and has been to over 20 countries.
