Having worked with many clients in a wide variety of organizations, including professionals, auto dealerships, construction and other owner-managed entities, Jim understands the issues that business owners face. He is firmly committed to working with the team at Durward Jones Barkwell & Company LLP to help his clients grow their business.
Jim is a Chartered Professional Accountant (1987) and became a Partner in the Firm in 1995.
A graduate of Brock University, Jim’s success has been derived from the personal care and attention he provides in areas such as assurance, income tax planning, business financing, operational analysis, and information technology consulting for privately-owned businesses and non-profit organizations.
Jim is active in the community and has held the position of President and/or Treasurer of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, the Grimsby Rotary Club, the Grimsby Downtown Improvement Area, and the Grimsby Big Brothers/Big Sisters organizations.
